Polygyros Run Halkidiki: Traffic adjustments for 10th anniversary races

The 10th anniversary of the Polygyros Run Halkidiki is taking place in Polygyros, aimed at promoting athletic spirit and sports tourism. The event features four different race categories, including a 1,000-meter race for children, a 5 km city road run, and a 14.6 km mountain-to-city run. All races start and finish at Heroes Square.

Due to the event, the Halkidiki Police Directorate has announced temporary traffic restrictions in Polygyros. For the 5 km and 14.6 km races, vehicle traffic will be interrupted between 15:45 and 21:15 on various roads, including R. Feraiou, Papageorgaki, Karagani, and Asklipiou, as well as routes leading toward Mount Tsoukalas and the old Polygyros-Thessaloniki National Road. Specific restrictions for the children's race will be in effect from 16:45 to 18:45.
