Pomellato revives Moneta Orientale jewelry collection

The Milanese jewelry house Pomellato has reintroduced Moneta Orientale as part of its annual Memorie d’Archivio series. Originally created in 1997, the design is inspired by lucky amulets and features an irregular circular disk intended to represent the harmony between heaven and earth.

The updated collection offers 33 different combinations of precious gems and hard stones, including black jade, amazonite, labradorite, diamonds, sapphires, and rubies. The design emphasizes organic shapes and irregular pavé settings rather than perfect geometry.

In a separate cultural development, the contemporary jewelry exhibition titled ‘Memòria’ is currently on display at Personal Galeria in Tarragona until October 20. Curated by Sílvia Serra Albaladejo, the exhibition features 53 artists exploring the relationship between jewelry, memory, and the transformation of materials and experiences.
