Pomezia political parties demand emergency council meeting over transport crisis

The Democratic Party (PD) and the Five Star Movement (M5S) in Pomezia have formally requested an extraordinary city council meeting to address what they describe as an emergency regarding local public transport. The political groups claim the current service reorganization has become unsustainable, causing significant disruptions for students, workers, and families.

With the start of the school year, critical issues have emerged regarding bus schedules and connections. Many families report that transport solutions no longer align with school entry and exit times, placing undue pressure on school administrators. Additionally, residents in various neighborhoods face insufficient connections, reduced trips, and inadequate schedules that impact their ability to commute to work.

The political groups are calling for the municipal administration to engage in urgent discussions with Astral and the Lazio Region to revise the bus plan and remodel essential lines and connections.
