Pompeii to host Human driven Ai summit on technological governance

The rapid evolution of technoscience is reshaping the boundaries between political decision-making and technical production. A new interdisciplinary volume edited by Andrea Lavazza explores how technological progress is becoming an integral part of educational, social, and political processes. The work examines the impact of digital tools on learning, changes in interpersonal relationships, and the ethical necessity of regulating technology to maintain human responsibility in an era of automated decision-making.

Complementing these academic discussions, the second edition of the ‘Human driven Ai summit’ is scheduled for September 18-19 at the Nexus convention center in Pompeii. Organized by the Human driven Ai association, the summit aims to address the challenge of governing the fastest technological transformation in human history. The event will feature over 20 panels and 40 speakers discussing topics such as legal tech, digital healthcare, industrial robotics, cybersecurity, and the AI Act. The summit brings together scientists, institutions, and international research centers to discuss how to maintain human agency amidst rapid digital change.
