Ponant expands luxury cruise offerings in Oceania and the Mediterranean
Ponant is promoting a range of luxury small‑ship cruises that combine cultural immersion with high‑end hospitality. One offering focuses on Oceania, with itineraries that visit Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, French Polynesia and other remote islands, highlighting natural scenery such as coral reefs, volcanic landscapes and indigenous cultures.
Separately, Ponant partnered with Smithsonian Journeys to host a specialist voyage for travel advisors aboard the Le Dumont d’Urville. Departing from Nice, the Mediterranean itinerary visited Corsica, Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago, featuring on‑board lectures by art historian Rafael Chacón and journalist Adam Tanner, as well as exclusive receptions with Captain Sébastien Dubuffet and senior officers.
Both programs underscore Ponant’s strategy of blending exploration, education and upscale service to attract discerning travelers.
