Pondicherry University announces temporary faculty recruitment

Pondicherry University has announced a recruitment drive for temporary faculty positions in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The vacancies are for the M. Sc. Marine Biology course, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences NIOT under the Deep Ocean Mission.

Eligible candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Marine Biology or Marine Sciences with at least 55% marks and a Ph.D. in a relevant field. Specializations sought include Physical Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, Marine Biology, or Marine Biotechnology. The appointment is temporary, lasting until the end of the 2026-27 academic year, with a consolidated monthly pay of Rs 80,000.
