Pont-Saint-Esprit appoints Léna Acosta as commerce manager

The municipality of Pont-Saint-Esprit has appointed Léna Acosta as its new commerce manager to spearhead local commercial revitalization. Acosta, who joined the administration in early September, aims to support local shopkeepers, reduce the estimated 20% commercial vacancy rate, and organize community events.

Acosta brings experience from her previous roles in Cannes, where she worked in territorial development, and from the company Proxity. Her mission includes acting as a full-time liaison for merchants to assist with administrative tasks, storefront improvements, and business development projects. The initiative is part of a broader municipal strategy to strengthen local attractiveness and includes the upcoming launch of the 'États généraux du commerce' (General Assembly of Commerce).
