Ponta Grossa man shot by brother during family dispute

A man was shot during a family dispute in the Colônia Dona Luiza neighborhood of Ponta Grossa on Friday morning. The victim sustained a wound to his abdomen and a graze near his ear.

The shooter, identified as the victim's brother, told Military Police that the incident occurred after the victim arrived home acting aggressively and allegedly threatening their father with a knife. The shooter claimed he fired a .32 caliber revolver to stop the aggression, which resulted in the injuries. The shooter stated he possesses video evidence of previous aggressive behavior by his brother. The victim was treated by SAMU and transported to a local hospital. Police seized the .32 caliber revolver.
