Ponta Grossa opens accreditation for construction waste recycling

The City Hall of Ponta Grossa has opened a public accreditation process for companies interested in receiving and recycling construction and demolition waste (CDW). This initiative, managed by the Secretariats of Environment and Administration, aims to strengthen the circular economy and improve the disposal of materials collected by the public system.

Under the public call for accreditation, qualified companies may be authorized to process up to 250 tons of construction waste per month. As part of the agreement, accredited firms must provide 20% of the processed material back to the Municipality. The accreditation period is scheduled from August 10 to August 25, 2026.
