Ponte Preta announces emergency pitch renovation at Moisés Lucarelli

Ponte Preta has announced an emergency renovation of the pitch at the Moisés Lucarelli stadium in Campinas. The decision follows criticism from players, technical staff, and fans regarding the field conditions during recent matches.

The club will utilize a two-week break in its home schedule to perform the work. The renovation process will include soil aeration, decompaction, fertilization, and technical mowing to improve water absorption, nutrient delivery, and surface leveling. Coach Gilson Kleina confirmed the necessity of the intervention, expressing expectation for improved conditions upon the team's return to the stadium.
