Ponte Preta SAF deal valued at R$1.1 bn drives club restructuring in Brazil

Ponte Preta announced that its SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol) project is in the final documentation stage and will be presented to the club’s Deliberative Council in the coming weeks. President Luiz Torrano said the investment could reach about R$1.1 billion, providing immediate funding, debt restructuring, administrative reorganization, and upgrades to training facilities and the Moisés Lucarelli Stadium as the team continues its Série B campaign.

Separately, the SAF for Desportiva Ferroviária has been approved, and investor Gabriel Venturim of Tiva Investimentos outlined the next steps. The group is finalising assembly registration, paperwork and commercial registration, with former player‑turned‑entrepreneur Sávio Bortolini involved in stadium visits. Venturim promised greater transparency and said the investment will be directed toward the club’s first‑stage operations once the SAF is formally constituted.
