Italy reports multiple fatal accidents involving young people

Several fatal accidents involving young people have been reported across different regions in Italy.

In Pontecagnano, a 15-year-old boy, identified as Antonio Milito, died following a collision between his scooter and a bus on Corso Italia. Investigations suggest a car may have failed to yield right-of-way, causing the teenager to swerve into the path of the bus. Authorities are also investigating a driver who reportedly fled the scene without providing assistance. In response, the Mayor of Pontecagnano, Giuseppe Lanzara, has declared a period of municipal mourning.

In Terontola Alta, a 15-year-old named Leonardo Accioli died after a tractor he was operating for recreation overturned on a steep path. The incident occurred during the night between Saturday and Sunday.

Additionally, a funeral was held in Castelbellino for 20-year-old Gaia Stronati and 21-year-old Stefano Marrese, both of whom died in a high-impact collision on the Perugia-Bettolle highway while traveling to a work training course.
