Pontedassio hosts Italian Petanque Championships

The Italian Petanque Championships held in Pontedassio concluded with victories in both the precision shooting and mixed doubles categories.

In the precision shooting competition, Fabrizio Bottero and Simona Bagalà secured the national title. They defeated Stefano Bruno and Monica Scalise in the final with scores of 35-31 and 31-17, respectively. The men's podium was completed by Mattia Badano and Saverio Amormino, while Giacomina Grosso and Silvana Bracco took third place in the women's category.

In the mixed doubles competition, Stefano Bruno and Chiara Oggero of Vita Nova Savigliano were crowned champions. They won the final against Erik Galanti and Eugenia Sibelli with a score of 13-3. The third-place positions were held by the pairs of Angelo Silvio Caviglia and Loredana Ardissone, and Massimo Francioli and Nicole Masseilot.
