Pontedera to host free community health screenings in October

The health initiative ‘Un Gesto per la Salute’ is scheduled to take place on October 3 and 4 at the Centro Sete Sóis Sete Luas in Pontedera. Created and scientifically directed by dentist Virginia Reali, the project aims to provide accessible preventative healthcare to the community.

Over 40 medical specialists and healthcare professionals, including heads of departments from Ospedale Lotti and their teams, will offer free examinations, screenings, and consultations. The event is designed to be family-friendly, featuring activities for children and a ‘Baby Pit Stop’ for new mothers.

Proceeds from sponsors and donations collected during the event will support the Pediatric Department at Ospedale Lotti. The initiative is supported by the Municipality of Pontedera, UNICEF, Misericordia, Confcommercio, Round Table Pontedera, and MC Promo.
