Pontedeume acquires Parque Sarmiento warehouses for new auditorium

The municipality of Pontedeume has officially acquired the former warehouses in Parque Sarmiento to facilitate the construction of a new municipal auditorium. The acquisition, formalized before a notary, marks a decisive step toward addressing a long-standing demand from the local cultural and associative community for a modern venue.

The next phase of the project involves drafting a demolition plan for the existing building, which is currently in a state of ruin. Once the demolition is complete, the city council intends to proceed with the design and construction of the new cultural facility.
