Pontevedra allocates funds for road improvements in Salceda and Gondomar

The Pontevedra Provincial Council has approved funding for infrastructure improvements in Gondomar and Salceda de Caselas as part of the Plan +Provincia 2026-2027. This program allocates 85 million euros to municipalities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants to support investments, current expenses, and staffing.

Gondomar will receive 80,000 euros to pave a road in Santa Lucía, Vincios, covering approximately 3,000 square meters. The project includes renewing the driving surface, milling sections for regularization, and installing double gutters and waste collection areas.

Salceda de Caselas has been allocated 160,000 euros to improve eleven municipal roads across several parishes, including Santa María de Salceda, Budiño, Soutelo, and A Picoña. The works will involve renewing driving surfaces, paving unpaved sections, and widening roads.
