Pontevedra approves 900,000 euro Erasmus+ program for vocational students
The Diputación de Pontevedra has approved a new Erasmus+ program with a budget exceeding 900,000 euros to support vocational training (FP) students. The initiative will allow 65 students from the province to complete approximately six months of training at companies and institutions across Europe.
The funding consists of over 680,000 euros from the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) and more than 220,000 euros from provincial funds. The program involves a consortium of 38 educational centers across 21 municipalities. In addition to the students, 12 teachers and professionals will participate in short-term learning mobilities. The project is expected to last between 15 months and two years, aiming to improve youth employability by providing international professional experience.
