Pontevedra PP denounces neglect of O Castañal neighborhood

The Partido Popular (PP) has criticized the local government in Pontevedra for the perceived neglect of the O Castañal neighborhood. Representatives Bea Rey and Silvia Junco met with residents to document various infrastructure and maintenance issues.

Specific complaints include damaged sidewalks, deteriorating walls, and accumulated trash. Residents reported that certain streets end in dirt and debris, while poorly placed containers obstruct pedestrians and those with reduced mobility. Additionally, the PP accused Mayor Lores of providing temporary fixes, such as metal fences, rather than implementing permanent solutions for crumbling walls and abandoned vehicles that contribute to a sense of insecurity.
