Pontevedra province funds Tomiño cultural centre equipment and Soutomaior street revamp

The provincial government of Pontevedra approved €64,000 to equip the Casa de la Cultura in Tomiño with audiovisual systems, including video projection, sound amplification and stage lighting, as part of the Plan +Provincia 2026‑2027 that allocates €2.44 million to the town.

In a separate agreement, Mayor Manu Lourenzo of Soutomaior and Provincial President Luis López signed a collaboration pact to humanise the Roxelio Landeiro street. The project, valued at €875,000, will receive €700,000 from the province and €175,000 from the municipality, aiming to improve mobility, create green zones and modernise the urban core.
