Pontinia approves feasibility study for Podere Museale ONC

The municipal government of Pontinia has approved a feasibility study for the creation of the Podere Museale ONC. This project aims to recover and promote the historical memory of the land reclamation and the origins of the Agro Pontino region.

The initiative involves the restoration of a historic building, specifically the former Opera Nazionale Combattenti farm number 1350 located on via Leonardo da Vinci. Once restored, the site will serve as an exhibition and educational space. The project, developed by architect Luca Falzarano, intends to respect the historical and architectural characteristics of the building while recreating the daily living environments of the area's early pioneers.

Internal spaces will feature reconstructions of kitchens and pantries, while the courtyard will be transformed into a thematic area for educational activities focused on agricultural traditions. The project was proposed by the Councilor for Agriculture and Territorial Programming, Giovanni Bottoni.
