Pontoise: New access road construction in Marcouville nears completion

Construction of a new access ramp connecting the RD 915 to the Marcouville district in Pontoise is entering its final phase. The project, part of a larger urban renewal program for the Hauts de Marcouville area, aims to create a direct link between the RD 915 and Rue des Roseaux.

The new infrastructure is designed to facilitate the movement of machinery and materials for ongoing renovation projects in the short term. Long-term goals include improving neighborhood accessibility to public facilities and future commercial zones. To ensure resident safety, the road will be designed as a calmed zone with a speed limit of 20 km/h and raised pedestrian crossings.

Work is scheduled to conclude by August 31. Until then, traffic on the RD 915 is restricted to a single lane in the direction of Osny-Cergy.
