Ponzio PE68 aluminum system technical analysis
The Ponzio PE68 aluminum system is designed to enhance the thermal insulation and airtightness of entrance doors. The system utilizes a three-chamber construction to provide structural stiffness, which helps prevent microscopic frame deformations even in large-format door leaves.
To ensure airtightness against wind and driving rain, the system incorporates multiple locks with integrated stainless steel hooks. These components apply even mechanical pressure across the entire height of the door leaf to the frame, preventing gaps in corner areas. When compared to other profiles, the PE68 offers a Ud-value starting from 1.1 W/(m²K) and supports glazing or filling thicknesses between 18 mm and 59 mm.
