Pooh celebrates 60 years with symphonic tribute and arena tour

The Italian band Pooh is celebrating 60 years of musical career through a series of special events and a major tour titled ‘Pooh 60, La Nostra Storia’.

A symphonic tribute, ‘Pooh History: Omaggio Sinfonico’, is set to debut on September 29 at the Mario Del Monaco Municipal Theatre in Treviso. Directed by Diego Basso, this project features a new arrangement for a symphony orchestra and lyric choir. Notably, the performance will exclude electric instruments and solo vocalists, relying instead on the dialogue between strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion to highlight the band's original melodies and harmonies.

In addition to the symphonic project, the band is returning to indoor arenas with a tour that includes dates at the ChorusLife Arena in Bergamo. The opening shows in Bergamo have already sold out. The tour aims to revisit six decades of pop-rock history, featuring key members such as Roby Facchinetti and Dodi Battaglia.
