Pooh Shiesty challenges 23-hour jail isolation in emergency motion

Lontrell Williams Jr., known professionally as Pooh Shiesty, has filed an emergency motion challenging his current jail conditions. His legal team argues that being held in 23-hour isolation is severely impacting his mental health, citing increased anxiety, poor sleep, and restricted family visits.

Attorneys stated that while prison staff cited safety and protection as the reasons for the isolation, no specific threats have been identified or explained.

The legal challenge comes as Williams awaits trial regarding an alleged January 10 confrontation at a Dallas recording studio. Prosecutors allege that Williams and several others, including his father and fellow rapper Big30, used an AK-style pistol to force a victim to sign documents releasing him from a record contract. The Justice Department has charged nine men in connection with the incident, which allegedly involved the theft of cash, jewelry, and watches, as well as the physical assault of a victim.
