Pooh Shiesty faces additional robbery video and house‑arrest breach allegations

Federal prosecutors have added a new accusation that rapper Pooh Shiesty asked associate Big30 to record a robbery and kidnapping of fellow rapper Gucci Mane in a Dallas studio in January. A 25‑page filing includes screen‑grabs of the alleged footage and quotes the filing as stating, “Unsatisfied with merely obtaining the written release of contract, [Pooh Shiesty] announced that he wanted to film [Gucci Mane], and Wright Jr. recorded [Gucci] … ‘Pooh Shiesty dropped from 1017.’” All defendants have pleaded not guilty and the trial is scheduled for February 2026.

Separate allegations emerged on June 26, 2026 that Shiesty violated his house‑arrest conditions in Memphis by coordinating with a probation supervisor to manipulate a GPS monitoring device. The affidavit claims the supervisor helped create a false location log for several days in April. Shiesty’s attorney called the claims “baseless and appear to be part of a coordinated effort to derail our client’s rehabilitation.” The case has prompted a review of Tennessee’s electronic‑monitoring system and caused a 30% revenue dip for Shiesty’s label, Southside Entertainment.
