Pooja Hegde honored at India Day Parade in New York

Actress Pooja Hegde attended the 44th annual India Day Parade in New York City as a Guest of Honour. The event, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA), took place along Madison Avenue in Manhattan and is recognized as the largest India Day Parade held outside of India.

Hegde expressed pride in participating, noting the surreal experience of seeing the Indian community celebrate their heritage in New York. She was felicitated with a “Chief Guest” sash during the festivities. Actor Adivi Sesh also participated in the event, serving as a chief guest and grand marshal. The parade also featured appearances by the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
