Pool cleaning robots: WYBOT B1 review and maintenance tips

The market for pool cleaning robots is expanding, with more affordable models becoming available to consumers. The WYBOT B1, recently introduced to the French market via the Zigbuy platform, is a wireless, Bluetooth-connected model designed to clean pool floors, walls, and waterlines.

Technical reviews of the WYBOT B1 highlight its effective suction and good value for money, noting its ability to adapt to various pool shapes and materials. However, users may encounter connectivity issues with Bluetooth once the device is submerged, and the debris basket cover can be difficult to open.

In terms of maintenance, common malfunctions in pool robots, such as erratic movement or failure to advance, can often be resolved through simple repairs. For instance, a defective ball bearing in a roller can cause movement issues and can be replaced relatively easily with basic tools and a new bearing.
