Poonam Dhillon hospitalized in Mumbai with dengue

Veteran actress and Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) president Poonam Dhillon has been hospitalised at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after being diagnosed with dengue. Reports indicate she had been unwell for several days prior to her admission and is currently undergoing treatment. While specific details regarding complications have not been released, she is reportedly on the road to recovery.

Dhillon’s hospitalization follows a period of internal friction within CINTAA. Recent allegations from the organization’s general secretary, Upasana Singh, accused Dhillon and vice president Padmini Kolhapure of dictatorial leadership following the resignation of several committee members. Dhillon has dismissed these claims as offensive and unclassy, attributing the disputes to individuals seeking more influence within the organization.
