Poços de Caldas gains international tourism spotlight and hotel group upgrades

A feature in the Spanish newspaper AS highlighted Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, for its rare volcanic caldera, mild climate, sulphuric thermal waters and growing tourism infrastructure. Director Ricardo Aly of the Nacional Inn hotel chain said the coverage puts the city on the radar of international tourists and researchers, noting that the “visibility strengthens the entire tourism chain, from local commerce to hospitality.”

At the same time, Nacional Inn Poços de Caldas has refined its operations to serve travel groups and excursions. The hotel offers bus parking, varied room capacities, leisure areas and event spaces, and provides special conditions for tour guides and agencies. Aly explained that the chain’s three Poços de Caldas properties – Nacional Inn, Euro Suite and Dan Inn – allow it to match different budget and profile needs while maintaining consistent service quality.
