Poços de Caldas implements legislative education and school repair planning

In Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, the Municipal Chamber has conducted educational initiatives through its Legislative School. The ‘Câmara em Visita’ project hosted students from CRAS Sul and E. M. Júlio Bonazzi in September, allowing them to tour the facilities, learn about the legislative process, and participate in simulated sessions. During these sessions, participants voted on proposals regarding public health, accessibility, and public policy.

Separately, the municipal government has addressed structural concerns at Colégio Municipal Dr. José Vargas de Souza. While the administration is planning interventions for issues such as painting, window replacement, and leak repairs, no specific timeline has been established. The city stated that schedules will be finalized following budget assessments and technical studies. Additionally, a gradual replacement of school desks is underway, with a target completion date of 2027.
