Poços de Caldas police seize drugs worth R$1.8k and detain motorcyclist after rubber‑bullet chase

Police in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, conducted a drug‑trafficking operation in the Santa Rita neighborhood, arresting a 17‑year‑old suspect. Officers seized 52 crack stones, 45 cocaine pins, two bars of marijuana, four marijuana buds, a marijuana tablet and roughly R$1,806.50 in cash, along with a mobile phone.

In a separate incident later that night, police pursued a 26‑year‑old motorcyclist who was riding at high speed and ignoring stop orders. After a brief chase that included rubber‑bullet fire, officers apprehended the rider, who suffered no apparent injuries. The motorcycle was impounded and the suspect was released pending judicial proceedings.
