Poços de Caldas announces cultural funding, job openings, and health service updates

Poços de Caldas has announced several municipal updates regarding culture, employment, and public health. The Municipal Secretariat of Culture opened applications for the 2027 Cultural Incentive program, which allocates approximately R$ 2 million in resources through tax incentives. Projects in areas such as performing arts, audiovisual, music, and literature can request up to R$ 25,000.

In employment news, the public companies DME Distribuição and DME Energética launched a selection process for four young apprentice positions in the administrative area. Candidates must be between 16 and 24 years old and will undergo theoretical training at SENAI alongside practical work at the company.

Regarding public health, the Zoonosis Control Center (CCZ) is currently operating with a reduced staff and lacks a computerized system for consolidating service records. While the Municipal Health Secretariat is analyzing plans to expand the physical structure and staff of the CCZ, there is currently no set timeline for the implementation of these improvements.
