Pop Mie launches Pokémon-themed noodle variants in Indonesia

PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk has launched a special collaboration between Pop Mie and Pokémon to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary. The partnership introduces two unique cup noodle variants in Indonesia that translate iconic characters into specific flavor profiles and sensory experiences.

The first variant, Chicken Yuzu, is inspired by Pikachu. It features a Japanese citrus flavor paired with ‘pop sparks’, which are popping candy toppings designed to mimic electrical sensations. The second variant, Spicy Torimen, is inspired by Charmander and features a spicy flavor profile accompanied by ‘fiery burst’ spicy boba.

Senior Brand Manager Antonius Pandu stated that the collaboration aims to merge global pop culture with culinary innovation, allowing fans to not only see their favorite characters but also experience them through taste and texture.
