Popcorn Co., Ltd. releases free AI scheduling tool

Popcorn Co., Ltd. has released ‘Nittei Chosei-kun’ (Schedule Adjustment-kun), a free AI-driven tool designed to automate the process of scheduling meetings. Positioned as an ‘AI employee,’ the software aims to handle administrative tasks to increase productivity without increasing headcount.

The tool integrates with Google Calendar to identify available time slots. It can instantly generate professional text for email or chat messages that include proposed dates and times. Recipients can use a generated URL to select a convenient slot by cross-referencing their own Google Calendar without needing to log in.

To address privacy concerns common with existing scheduling tools, the software only accesses ‘FreeBusy’ information. It does not retrieve or store meeting titles, descriptions, locations, or participant details.
