Pope addresses pilgrims during Mass in Lourdes

During a Mass held in Lourdes, the Pope addressed pilgrims from France and around the world, describing the gathering as the “universal face of the Church.” He encouraged those attending the pilgrimage to bring the comfort of Lourdes back to their families and parishes.

The homily focused on the theme of conversion, referencing the message entrusted by the Virgin Mary to Saint Bernadette. Drawing from biblical texts, the Pope emphasized the urgency of spiritual repentance, stating that the time for conversion is “today – not tomorrow.”
