Pope Francis prays for victims of global conflict and natural disasters

During the Angelus prayer and the Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary at Castel Gandolfo, Pope Francis offered prayers for those suffering from global conflicts and natural disasters.

The Pope specifically requested intercession for the people of the Holy Land, as well as the Ukrainian and Russian peoples. He also expressed solidarity with Christians facing discrimination or persecution worldwide.

Additionally, the Pope extended his prayers to the people of Colombia following a devastating earthquake, seeking consolation and hope for those affected by the seismic event.
