Pope Francis urges Polish youth at Lednica to hear God’s question
Pope Francis addressed young people praying on 6 June at the Lednica fields near Gniezno, Poland. He urged them, “in a world full of noise, haste and digital distractions, hear God’s question: where are you?” and encouraged greater use of the sacraments, a return to authentic relationships and responsible witness.
He highlighted the crossing of the Fish Gate as a sign of renewed grace and linked the year’s theme “Genesis” to a call to return to the source. The papal greeting, conveyed through Poland’s Primate Archbishop Wojciech Polak and delivered by Archbishop Paolo Rudelli, concluded with an apostolic blessing for the youth.
