Pope Leo XIV has released his first encyclical, ‘Magnifica Humanitas’ (Magnificent Humanity), which addresses the preservation of the human person in the age of artificial intelligence. The document emphasizes human dignity, freedom, and the pursuit of truth as central themes in response to technological advancement.

In discussions regarding the encyclical, Dr. Andrea Ciucci of the Pontifical Academy for Life noted that the text offers a positive view of humanity, encouraging people to build unity and justice despite the rise of AI.
