Pope Leo XIV’s AI Encyclical Inspires “Magnifica Humanitas” Event in Termoli

Pope Leo XIV issued an encyclical titled “Magnifica Humanitas” that examines the relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence, warning that AI threatens free will and personal judgment.

In response, the Centro Spes of the Diocese of Termoli‑Larino will hold a free two‑day event on 27‑28 July 2026 at the Ecclesia Mater courtyard. The program includes introductory talks and practical workshops led by local experts such as Emanuele Bracone, Benedetta Esposto, Monica Serreli, Andrea Di Vincenzo, Fabio De Notariis and Don Alessio De Fabritiis, inviting participants to explore the human dimension in the AI era.
