Pope Tawadros II honors young robotics inventor Martiros Mina

Pope Tawadros II received 10-year-old Martiros Mina at the Papal headquarters in Cairo to honor his international achievements in programming and robotics. Mina recently won a gold medal at an international programming competition held in China.

Mina has participated in various international competitions in China, Estonia, and Romania, ranking among the top 2% of participants globally in his most recent competition. His current project involves designing a robot intended to serve as a tourist guide within the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The Pope praised the young inventor's dedication to using his skills to serve Egypt and commended his parents for supporting his development in electronics and robotics. Additionally, the Pope noted the Egyptian state's support, including recognition from the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Mina's inclusion in the ‘Digital Egypt Cubs’ initiative despite being below the standard age requirement.
