Popeyes accelerates expansion with nine new restaurants in Poland

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen announced plans to open nine additional restaurants in Poland, bringing its total locations in the country to 48. The new sites include a drive‑thru in Jawornik (Małopolskie) on the Zakopiańska route, another drive‑thru in Jędrzejów on the S7 corridor, a fourth outlet in Kraków’s Galeria Kazimierz, a second store in Łódź’s Manufaktura, and a drive‑thru in Ostróda serving travelers to the Baltic coast. Recent openings this summer were a restaurant in Kielce and the first Polish outlet in Bydgoszcz.

Marketing manager Kamila Węcka said each new branch responds to specific guest needs and that the chain is growing at a “natural yet decisive pace.” While the focus is on Poland, the expansion brings the brand closer to Slovak customers who currently travel to Brno or Prague for Popeyes, hinting at possible future openings near the Slovak border.
