Popeyes launches new Honey Chicken Biscuit sandwich

Popeyes has officially launched the Honey Chicken Biscuit, a new menu item that combines a crispy chicken fillet with a large buttermilk biscuit and sweet honey sauce. The sandwich is priced at $5 and includes two sachets of honey sauce on the side, allowing customers to control the level of sweetness.

The release follows years of fan-driven menu hacks where customers used biscuits and honey sauce to create makeshift chicken biscuit sandwiches. Popeyes Chief Marketing Officer Matt Rubin stated that the item aims to balance savory and sweet flavors while staying true to the brand’s Louisiana roots.
