Poppele-Zunft Singen visits new Fasnachtsmuseum Langenstein

Members of the Poppele-Zunft Singen 1860 e. V. recently visited the Fasnachtsmuseum Langenstein. The group, consisting of approximately 20 cyclists, joined roughly 50 other members to tour the newly opened museum facility.

After nearly 40 years of operating within Schloss Langenstein, the museum moved to a new external building designed to resemble a modern barn. The project was funded through eight years of fundraising by a support association and grants from state, federal, and EU programs.

The museum features a new exhibition opened in 2025, which utilizes modern technology such as touchscreens and tablets to explore the origins of Fasnet, traditions, and various guilds. The collection includes 200 life-sized Swabian-Alemannic carnival figures and approximately 300 masks from around the world.
