Popstars returns to Argentina to form new girl band

The talent show Popstars has returned to Argentine television after 25 years with the goal of forming a new girl band. The program aims to find authentic musical talent to create a group that resonates with new generations, rather than imitating past successful acts like Bandana.

The judging panel includes Nicki Nicole, Ángela Torres, and Mexican producer Charlie García. During the selection process, the show featured a special appearance by the pop duo Miranda!, consisting of Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas. The duo participated in an activity led by host Nicolás Vázquez, where they helped contestants work on harmony and pitch while performing hits such as “Tu Misterioso Alguien” and “Mentía”.
