Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine proposes national salvation roadmap

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has released the full text of its political initiative, titled ‘Roadmap for National Salvation’. The proposal aims to address the current political impasse and unify Palestinian efforts against ongoing conflict, settlement expansion, and displacement in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

The initiative calls for a comprehensive national dialogue, beginning with bilateral and group discussions among various Palestinian components. This process is intended to culminate in a meeting of factional general secretaries to establish rules for national partnership and a shared political program.

Key components of the roadmap include the democratic reconstruction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) institutions and the formation of a new national council for a consensus-based transitional period. Additionally, the PFLP proposes the creation of a unified national consensus government to serve for a specific transitional term to support Palestinian resilience.
