Brazil initiatives promote professional training and entrepreneurship
Various municipal and private institutions across Brazil are launching initiatives to promote professional qualification and female entrepreneurship.
In Votuporanga, the CTMO and Senac are offering free courses in Cash Flow and Artificial Intelligence for Social Media. Additionally, the city is providing panettone manufacturing training through Senai. In Arapongas, Senac has opened registrations for technical courses in Logistics and Nursing for 2027.
Efforts to empower women through gastronomy are also widespread. Porangatu is hosting its first Affective Food Festival to support female entrepreneurs, while Campo Grande's Semu recently concluded a dessert-making course to encourage financial autonomy. In Fortaleza, the EDISCA project is holding a cultural fair to showcase products from women trained in regional cuisine and crafts, with some participants receiving seed capital to start small businesses. In Marabá, Seaspac celebrated the graduation of 39 students from a gastronomy course aimed at generating household income.
