Pordenone and Gattinara host volunteer clean‑up initiatives

In Pordenone, volunteers from the Puliamo i Quartieri network organised a two‑part day of waste collection on 20 June. At the Festa sul Nonsel a gazebo received 37 kg of electronic waste, including batteries, a cell phone, lamps, a television, an air‑fryer and an iron. Afterward, the volunteers cleaned central streets, gathering 18 bottles of glass, 2 kg of paper, 2.6 kg of plastic, 11.5 kg of non‑recyclable dry waste and 14.5 kg of iron. The operation involved local groups, the municipal assessor Mattia Tirelli, and plans a next outing in Marsure di Aviano.

In Gattinara, the “Volontari in Piazza” event honoured volunteers for their civic contributions, highlighting how donated time strengthens community bonds and supports local initiatives. Organisers thanked participants for their ongoing commitment to public service.
