Pordenone opens shared housing project for seniors

The Casa Pordenone project, part of the Indaco initiative by the Itaca social cooperative, has officially opened in Pordenone, Italy. Located at via Montereale 45, the facility provides a shared living model designed for seniors over the age of 65, focusing on autonomy, security, and community participation.

The 360 square meter residence is spread across two floors connected by an elevator. It features four double rooms, two single rooms, four accessible bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a living area, and a laundry room. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms with personal belongings to foster a sense of home.

The property includes an accessible garden exceeding 1,300 square meters. Of the ten total spots available in the house, seven have already been assigned, with three positions remaining. The facility is situated near the Pordenone Hospital and the Cittadella della Salute, ensuring residents remain close to essential urban services.
