Pordenone to expand urban steward service for city center security

The municipality of Pordenone has announced an expansion of its urban steward service to enhance security in the city center. Starting October 15, stewards will be active every evening from 18:00 to 24:00 across six specific areas, including via Cavallotti, viale Trento, and piazza Risorgimento.

This initiative aims to support the local police by providing constant monitoring and real-time communication with law enforcement. Security Councilor Elena Ceolin stated the measure is intended to address resident concerns regarding violence and insecurity, ensuring the city remains safe for its citizens.
