Pordenonelegge festival features international authors and Korean poetry

The 27th edition of Pordenonelegge, a prominent European literary festival, features a diverse lineup of international authors and cultural discussions. Notable participants include National Book Award winner Susan Choi, who will present her latest novel, ‘Flashlight’, for the first time in Italy.

The program includes a debate featuring former French Prime Minister Manuel Valls on the topics of new antisemitism and European geopolitical tensions. Other scheduled speakers include French writer Thomas Schlesser, journalist Nora Bussigny, and Israeli author Assaf Gavron.

Looking toward the 2026 edition, the festival is set to highlight contemporary Asian literature. Through a collaboration with I Quaderni del Bardo Edizioni, the event will showcase Korean poetry, including works by Choi Dongho and Kooseul Kim, supported by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Milan.
